Bt Homehub5 to Vigor 2830 was created by beni_cosgrove
I am wanting to connect hard wired devices to the Vigor that show up on the Homehubs device page.

I have the HH set up to use 192.168.20.200 with a pool of 50 IPS.

A hard wire connection from a gigabyte port on the HH to the WAN port on the Vigor.

I have set the Vigor up to use 192.168.20.201 with a pool of 10 IPS that are not in the same pool as the HH.

I have turned the IP6 option off on the Vigor.

On Vigor, set up is currently:

WAN2 . ENABLED
Physical mode. Ethernet
Auto Negotiation
Active mode. Always on

WAN2 . Internet Access
Physical Mode . Ethernet
Access Mode. Static or Dynamic IP

In the Static or Dynamic IP Settings:

ENABLED
Wan Connection Detection . Arp detect
MTU. 1442 (max shown is 1500)
Obtain an IP Address automatically . Checked

DNS server IP addresses .
8.8.8.8
8.8.4.4

Multi PVCs .

Channel 1. Channel 2 are enabled

I currently have the DHCP Server Configuration set to Enable sever.

Other options here . Disable or Enable Relay Server

Currently if a device is connected to the Vigor , it has Internet Access but is not seen on the Homehub router page and other devices connected to the HH cannot see the Vigor devices.

On the HH router page, I shows the Vigor connected but not any of the devices attached to the Vigor?

I also note that I cannot connect to the HH router on 192.168.20.200 when I am connected to the Vigor and when I am connected to the HH I cannot connect to the 192 .168.20.201 Vigor router page?

Can someone point me in the right direction please.

Thanks all in anticipation

Beni
