Vigor 130 login trouble was created by benboy80
Hi all
just wondering if anyone could please help !?
I'm trying to access the setup menu in the Vigor 130 ( 3.8.4 BT Firmware), i'm connecting it directly to the ethernet port of my pc and using 192.168.2.1 in the browser , it briefly connected then after subsequent tries wouldn't.
I have cleared the arp cache, but haven't had any luck .
In the network settings (windows 10) it doesn't seem to be connecting .
any ideas help appreciated .
Regards
Ben .

Try this .
Connect the modem direct to your PC .
Create a new PPOE connection on your PC.
Use these details :
Set a static IP on your PC of 192.168.2.10 with a subnet mask of 255.255.255.0 and the gateway: 192.168.2.1
You should be able to access internet .
Now reconnect the modem to the router and try the Draytek GUI using 192.168.2.1

I doubt that you will be able to connect to 192.168.2.1 if you connect the modem to your router (see various threads about doing this). It seems that it can be done with some Asus routers and it can also be done with Drayteks by using the Virtual WAN feature - https://www.draytek.com/en/faq/faq-connectivity/connectivity.wan/how-to-access-vigor130-in-bridge-mode/
