IP Routed Subnet Inbound Issue was created by cwager990
I followed these instructions,
https://www.draytek.co.uk/indes.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=443
,
and then created firewall rules to allow inbound traffic the the Public IP Assigned to RDP Server that is connected to it but got bocus no connection what have I done wrong ?
Can any of you tell me.
I have configured the routed subnet on LAN 2, I have created a firewall rule to allow traffic from WAN > LAN for the IP In question
there is no port redirection or dmz as this should be routed. But no inbound connections are possible ?

What’s your ipconfig on the server? Are the gateways set correctly?
Side note, you should never expose RDP directly to the internet. It’s horribly insecure, there should always be an RDGateway or VPN used.

I was referring to my RD Gateway Having said that I have resolved the issues turns out I had assigned the IP as an IP Alias to the router removed and now works, simple oversight.
