Can not connect to internet was created by tfgst
Hi All,
Hoping that you can assist me here, please.
2860 router
DHCP enabled. Start IP 192.168.2.240; IP pool counts 5, gateway ip 192.168.2.1
I have three windows machines; one is win 7, another is win 10 pro and the other is win 2011 server. If I assign a static IP address of say 192.168.2.15/16/17 to these machines, I get an error saying no internet access. If I then change the setting to allow DHCP to issue an IP, I get internet access.
I have now given these machines a static IP of 192.168.2.101/102/103 and they get internet access.
Any ideas here please?

I also have a wireless laptop connected and this has a static IP ending 17 and connects fine. This is a Windows 10 Pro laptop.
However, when I run ipconfig from the command line, I am getting two IP addresses showing there; one is the 17 and the other is the 33. The 17 has a subnet of 255.255.255.0 and the 33 has a subnet of 255.255.255.255.
