3900 Console Port details was created by smadds
Anyone got any details on the 3900 console port? All I can see in the manual is a reference that it's "Provided for technician use". (Not sure what sort of person other than a technician would be accessing the router anyway!)

It's RS232 - the cable is provided with the router (RJ45 to DB9 I'd guess) and it gives a command line interface - useful to practically no end users - you can do most stuff from telnet/SSH or web interfaces.
