Help with a Vigor 2860 and BT Business HUB in Bridge mode was created by mpainting
Hi there,
Hoping someone can help me as I am totally new to this and I am having some issues.
I want to setup my Vigor 2860 with 2 BT Infinity fiber line so I can load balance over them to improve bandwidth and speed.
Both my BT fiber lines have static IP addresses.
I have the first line connected direct from the Openreach socket to the 2860 with a DSL cable into the VDSL/ADSL port on the router, that is connected and all working fine and picks up it's static IP address.
If what I have read is true, for the second line I have a DSL cable going from the OpenReach socket to a BT Business Hub 5 in bridge mode, then an Ethernet cable from the red WAN port on the back of the hub to the Ethernet WAN2 port.
WAN2 - General Setup:
Eabled = Yes
Physical Mode = Ethernet
Physical Type = Auto Negotiate
Active Mode = Always On
Vlan Tag Insertion (Service) = Enabled (Tag Value = 101)
WAN2 - Internet Access
Access Mode = PPPoE
PPPoE Enabled
ISP Access Setup (using the standardgreen-light@service.btclick.com )
WAN Connection Detection = PPP Detect
PPP Authentication = PAP or CHAP
IP Assignment = Dynamic
I have updated the router to the latest firmware (3.8.9.3_BT)
But the 2nd line will just not connect, please help, someone.....anyone !!!

Please ignore this post, I have noticed my own silly mistake.
I just plugged my ethernet cable into one of the 4 data ports and NOT the red WAN link port....Doh!!
