Do you not have something like this in the device driver settings on your PC?

No.
I have seen it enabled by default - but can't remember which adapter it was. The option seems to be missing more often than not (IME) ...
Presumably it's hardware /driver dependent...

OK!
GREAT NEWS, well for me anyway!;)
I got Port 6 sorted, the guest wired port is now working fine with VLan tagging on!
The solution I hadn't even thought about, as I've never done anything with VLan tags before, but, it was to change the Windows 7 PC setting as Anaglypta's post.
I can now set up the AP's for two SSID's.
I have set my 3 D-Link switches to pass tagged and untagged packets, but, I think this is now where my trouble lies.
My guest mobile device clients can see the guest wifi and connect to the AP for a short while then they kicked off, the Windows clients cannot get an internet connection, nor do they get a valid IP address for the network which is given by the 2860

OK, update,
Schoolboy error with the D-Link switches, forgot to save the changes.
R-set, saved changes and configs, rebooted all fine.
One last issue if anyone has any ideas please.
The wired guest pc on the 2860 port 6 keeps losing its internet connection, it comes up with an error along the lines of cannot find or cannot connect to default gateway, which is the 2860 and it has never done this when the physical Vlan was set up, just since the tagging has been implemented.

OK, just to update.
Thanks to everyone who helped with this.
Got it sorted, eventually.
The wired guest PC issue was down to the network card/driver.
Tried it on a USB to Ethernet adaptor and it worked fine with VLan tagging enabled.
In the end put another network card in it which was sold as supporting VLan tagging, and once that was set up, it's run fine since.
So it looks like the MSI motherboard built in network card, whilst it has the setting to use VLan tagging in the driver we could not get it to work.
Thanks again to those that helped, it is really appreciated. I'd have been lost without it, as I've never done anything with VLan tags before.
