Vigor 2926 WAN2/LAN5 was created by rcsjb
On the Vigor 2926, does anyone know how to switch WAN2 to become the 5th LAN port?
According to the documentation, this feature requires firmware 3.8.8 or greater. I have updated the firmware to 3.8.8.2 but cannot see where to make this change.
Thanks.

WAN / General Setup / WAN 2 / Enable = "Set as LAN"
I'm using it like that at the moment.

Hi.
Thanks for your reply.
I don't have access to the router at the moment, but fairly sure I looked there, and did not have a 'set as lan' option.
I upgraded the f/w from 3.8.7 to 3.8.8.2, and then restored a config from a 2925 (running f/w 3.8.8 ) onto it, but when I couldn't see the option, I installed the .RST f/w for 3.8.8.2, and still don't see the option.
Any chance you could post an image of your router config where this is set please?
Thanks again.

Apologies, I misread your router model - however if your release notes mention the port re-tasking feature then it should be in that place - (it's the drop down box at the very top of the WAN2 settings -labelled "Enable" choices "Yes" / "No" / "Set as LAN"

It looks like the Vigor 2926 3.8.8.2 firmware doesn't have the option / support WAN2 operating as LAN5, but the 3.8.9.1 firmware does have the option.
The mentions of 3.8.8 supporting the feature are specific to the Vigor 2862 series, which got this feature first.

Thanks admin3.
Draytek are investigating at the moment, so I suspect that when the f/w 3.8.9.1 is released on the UK site we'll get this option.
Draytek support showed me a screen shot of a 2926 with the option there but he didn't say which version of f/w he was running.
