I bought a Vigor2860n through eBay and tried to reset the admin password numerous times but the default password doesn't work. I have tried IE, Chrome and Safari with username admin and password admin but still says incorrect username and password. Is there a different method of resetting it?
Please help.

You will have to do a hard reset by the looks of things.

Hi,
I have done hard reset many times but the default username password (admin/admin) isn't working. I've also restored using TFTP method but the default username password didn't work.

Have you tried re-flashing the firmware with the .RST version?

I have TFTP'd with the latest firmware, still not working. I wonder if the the vendors put their own default username password.

If a hard reset has been done and the default password still doesn't work then possibly you have a device which is not a normal retail product - some special units are produced for customers
for non-retail supply and they may use their own defaults/passwords; they come under their responsibility, not DrayTek, and I believe (?) they are the property of that company...so you'd have to get their support.
