Is it possible to import the back up config from a 2830 and restore it on a 2862?

No.
Checking the WEB interface demo, It appears to only accept config settings from a 2860.

I'll second that, you'll need to import the config into an intermediate 2860 (running 3.8.5 or higher) before saving and then importing into a 2862.

Hi,
Does this mean that one would have to use a 2860 generate a config file for a 2862? I have a 2862 config which I would like to import in to a 2862 which also doesn't seem to work? If this config cannot be imported in to a router of the same model then that would be a little backwards.
Thanks in advance for any replies.
Thanks,
Mark.
