That's unfortunate, could you contact the support team possibly so that they can assist with troubleshooting this new version of Smart VPN?
It should now be able to run from a user account, once it's been installed with an administrator account/privileges.

Well, I had the new client installed on the company laptop and it works as expected.
Just for giggles I also created a test account (standard user) on my private laptop and the client runs and connects with no UAC prompt. From the log:

The '32-bit' in the log confuses me slightly as both laptops are running 64-bit Windows 10 Pro, but I've seen stranger things before.
The remote router is a 2925ac with FW 3.8.7.
@hornbyp: just noticed you added the Windows version - same here on both machines.

When I install the Smart VPN client even using an admin account and run as admin I get the following error in the setup logs.
OpenService failed w/err 0x00000424

0x424 is 1060 decimal...
c:\>net helpmsg 1060
The specified service does not exist as an installed service.
Which sounds like it could be plausible, but different to what I am seeing.

Just to follow up on this, i have been working with support and it looks to be a software issue with version v4.3.4. They sent me v4.3.3.3 and that installs and connects fine but the only issue is it requires local admin rights to run which v4.3.4 was supposed to fix. I will update if i get any further information from support but until now i would use v4.3.3.3.
