Hello guys,
Yesterday i took delivery of my new router and modem to replace Talktalks provided one, upon coupling up the modem and plugging it into my laptop, i wasn't able to access the server IP to change any of the setting and i just really want to know what to do. im on talktalks 76mb faster fibre, using the router through the standard talktalk router works fine so i just really want a helping hand with setting up this modem. i know its the right router for ADSL/VDSL. and i looked at the setup guides i just cant access 192.168.1.1 to change anything.

It should just work out of the box, simply connect and off you go.
Connect your modem direct to your laptop , set a static on your PC/laptop of 192.168.2.10 with a subnet mask of 255.255.255.0 and the gateway: 192.168.2.1
Now you should be able to log in to the modem. After that, connect the modem to the Asus and try again.
I use an AC3200 , never had an issue connecting . The Asus is accessible on 192.168.1.1 and the Draytek on 192.168.2.1.
Another thought, are the lights showing correctly on the Vigor130?
