Vigor 130 and Google Wifi was created by paulbds
Hello
Preamble:
BT infinity in last house. Used an asus router modem to distribute wired and WiFi signal through house - worked fine
Moved to new property November and Wifi struggling. Purchaser of last property wanted modem, fair enough so left behind
Used BT SmartHub (HH6) but WiFi signal struggling distant parts of house/outbuildings
Bought Google Wifi (GWiFi) to improve signal
Works fine but separate IP address issued by GWiFi so not able to see some devices
Its seems to be a double NAT situation
I bought the Vigor 130 as a modem and placed in bridge mode but still not able to it to work with GwiFi
Configuration is
Modem -> GWiFi-> switch
which I thought would work. Tried various configurations but after 3 hours decided to give up for time being
xyl/her indoors told me stop playing on the computer all afternoon !
would welcome ideas/thoughts/solutions in case other members have similar problems.
thankyou in advance
Paul

Friends of mine have Google wifi working with an original OR modem no problem.
I suggest you reset the 130 to factory default (NOT bridge mode) and then set up your ISP access as perhttps://support.google.com/wifi/answer/6246630?hl=en-GB

Oops, silly me
Now working and just to help anyone else in the future - an explanation
SETUP is as follows...
Connected VIGOR 130 -> GWiFi ->switch
Follow settings in GWiFi app
essentially
Disconnect LAN cable to GWiFi router
Setup PPOE settings in GWiFi - (in my casebthomehub@btinternet.com and password bt)
reconnect LAN cable, save settings and all is well
Thanks for all that assisted
