2960 not getting all the download speed was created by visionmill
I have a 2960 connected to FTTP supplied by zen internet. With the zen supplied router I get 330/30 but with the 2960 I only seem to be able to get around 85/30.
I have no QoS set yet and have tried turning DoS off as I read somewhere that that makes a difference but I can't achieve anything more on the download speed.
I'm running the latest firmware 1.3.2 but am a little stumped as to how to get all the download speed!.
Thanks

Thanks Dazza. I changed the flood setting but it made no difference.
Where do I find the modem speed? I can see it connected and the amount of traffic, but no sync speed like I’ve seen in other routers.

Best way to really see it is go into diagnostics and then into DSL status, where you will see the actual speed and also the attainable speed

I dont have a dsl status in diagnostics. Its a PPPoE connection rather than a PPPoA and cant see anything anywhere that says about the line speed.

The path you require is Diagnostics > Web Console
Console opens :
Then type the following commands , hit enter between the commands :
vdsl status (then hit enter button )
output will show connection details/stats
vdsl status more (enter)
output will show your extended line stats.
