Stop DSL rebooting when using ethernet? Annoying click! was created by markossl
I have a 2850Vn ADSL router.
Is there a way to stop the DSL modem rebooting every few minutes? I do not use it, I pass through to a separate modem via Ethernet.
Rebooting makes a clicking sound and it really irritates me. There must be a way to disable the modem surely? I have WAN1 disabled...
Thanks!

You can do this by going to [WAN] > [General Setup] > [WAN1], set the DSL Mode to either "ADSL Only" or "VDSL Only" and that should stop it clicking the relay to auto detect which line type is active.
