Before I work out to send screenshots, I am using a 2860.
Do you have any other WAN's or VPN connections that may use the .100 suffix?

You should be able to access the 100 IP address in modem mode still, providing you have no other routing policies to other gateways.silverstreak_2006 wrote:
Do you have a example of that working (with no other configuration)? ... I have long, boring, list of Vigors and V.M. Hubs, where it doesn't. The Vigors I've experience of, just send requests for 192.168.100.1 to their Default Gateway - i.e. the ISP (just as they do for any other unknown IP address).

I can't understand why you would have issues. Make sure you have routing policies if you use more than one LAN. The Draytek see beyond the Public IP, so needs to be forced to WAN2 to work, and the SH does its unusual thing when it sees that 100.1 address come its way.
Let me know how you get on.

Having tried for days and getting grief off the family due to no internet, I went back to using the Virgin Superhub 3 as the router for a number of months. Having been made redundant and with more time on my hands I have tackled it again. The SH3 has now got the latest firmware V9.116.603 on it; as has the 2960, switch, AP900 & AP902. Put the SH3 in modem mode, connected the 2960 to the bottom port (by the coax connection), rebooted everything in order SH3, 2960, switch and off it all went. Left the WAN 1 on DHCP and disabled WAN 2 as I don't use it.
Thanks to all for your help. Hopefully a new Superhub 4 will come along without all the flakeiness.
