Vodafone UK and Draytek routers was created by philguk
Has anyone managed to persuade Vodafone UK to let them use a non Vodafone router for their broadband?
I would love to go ack t my Draytek router, but they are so far insisting I use the Vodafone supplied one

This has been discussed on the Thinkbroadband forums in the past. Some people got their login details , others were refused.

Vodafone will now issue username & password details to all customers.
Initially it was random if you could, then it was 100% no, and they have turned tail on this and will issue them if asked.
I've got a mate a on their 80/20 service with running via a 2860.

I'm now connected to Vodafone fibre using my 2925 via a 130. The vf tech team were happy to text my the logon details. Note that you need to add an @broadband.vodafone.co.uk to the end of the username field.
This is new policy. They won't/cant issue the details until you have gone live. I connected up their router for about 30 minutes and when it was all working, I then phoned up for my details. Simple, easy process. No arguments, etc.
