Can a 2862 use a 2860 saved config ? was created by steveburke
As the subject says, can a configuration backed up from a 2860 (n plus, to be specific) be restored to a 2862 ?
Thanks, Steve

It can, I've just successfully upgraded a Vigor 2860 on 3.8.5 firmware to a Vigor 2862 on 3.8.7 firmware. Be aware though, because the physical ports are different, the VLAN configuration may need to be reconfigured for the Vigor 2862's port layout.
I am aware of an issue with importing a configuration from the 2860's 3.8.5 firmware (which is a requirement for the 2862's configuration import) into the 2862's 3.8.6 firmware, but it appears 3.8.7 fixes that, which will be available on DrayTek UK within a few days.
