I'm trying to copy the wireless MAC access control list from one 2832n to another. Both are on firmware 3.8.3.5.
By going to Wireless LAN > Access Control I can go to Backup, and save a config file with all the allowed MAC addresses, which looks like this:
Code:
----------Mac Address Filter Status---------- ssid1: enable , white_list ssid2: disable , none ssid3: disable , none ssid4: disable , none ----------Mac Address Filter Status End---------- ----------MAC Address List---------- Index Attribute MAC Address Associated SSIDs 1 1c:ab:a7:01:35:19 ssid1 2 1c:ab:a7:08:ed:73 ssid1 3 1e:b7:33:44:6c:0d ssid1 4 40:b3:95:83:09:fd ssid1 5 40:b3:95:ca:17:60 ssid1 6 70:f1:a1:a2:07:27 ssid1 7 70:f1:a1:a3:fc:a5 ssid1 8 bc:67:78:12:88:19 ssid1 9 fc:f8:ae:1a:ef:9b ssid1 10 90:8d:6c:3e:4a:cf ssid1 11 90:8d:6c:41:f3:90 ssid1 12 60:6d:c7:14:aa:f1 ssid1 13 40:b8:9a:a2:15:4d ssid1 14 d0:53:49:c1:39:d6 ssid1 15 04:69:f8:6b:ce:93 ssid1 16 f4:5c:89:9d:3a:49 ssid1 17 70:a2:b3:b7:9b:0c ssid1 18 70:a2:b3:cc:2f:cf ssid1 19 s 28:f3:66:42:76:f1 ssid1 20 34:ab:37:4d:88:67 ssid1 21 b4:8b:19:0a:14:ff ssid1 22 de:53:60:ac:f5:08 ssid1 23 f4:5c:89:79:01:c4 ssid1 ----------MAC Address List End---------- End of file!!!

On the destination router I can select the file, and click Restore, and as long as the filename is of the form "wlacl_20170904.cfg" (other filenames will just throw an error, but that's a separate isssue) it will briefly tell me "Access Control List Updated", but the list stays blank.
Is there a way to import a list of MAC addresses into the wifi access control? Because this way does nothing.

Steps to reproduce:
  1. Add some MAC addresses to the whitelist on router A

  2. Backup access control list to a cfg file.

  3. Attempt to restore the file to router B
