Draytek 2860 Wan Aggregation was created by mircolup
Hello everybody.
I have an issue with this model and wan aggregation.
I have 2 fiber link and are both connect, but if i set "Session Based" in the option in the speedtest speed is not sum of 2 link.
I do simply what they ask here
http://www.i-helpdesk.com.au/index.php?/Knowledgebase/Article/View/706/0/how-to-enable-wan-aggregation-on-draytek-routers
Are there something to do more?
Thx in advance for the help.

Hi hornbyp, first of all thx for reply.
I used speedtest.net as the article of Draytek. Speedtest.net works with multi-thread but download run for only 1 of my 2 link (i have 2 different ISP).
Any advice about setting? I think that setting is very simply to do as wrote here

Maybe have i update firmware?
So strange this situation

I'm not so sure about Speedtest.net - it gives really big numbers, that don't seem to match real life - I'm sure they're in league with the ISPs
What about Upload speed - is it improving that ? (There being a lot less likelihood of overloading something along the route). Also, what's the spec. of the two links? Can the 2860 cope with both at the same time? (If they were both 300Mbps V.M. connections, for example, it wouldn't)
Sorry I can't offer more practical help - last time I did this, it was on ISDN

the router does not support "Wan Aggregation" - and it no router can if you are using
two separate/unconnected ISP connections and no 3rd party bonding provider.
If you have 2 x 50Mb, you can do two downloads @ 50Mb/s each...but not one at 100Mb/s.
