Communication between 2 IP Ranges / Subnets was created by alka5eltzer
Hi All,

We're doing work for a client and have some of their equipment in our factory. When we're finished, this will be installed in the customers site.

We want to find a sweet spot where we don't have to make any changes to the software coding when the system goes to the customer (just minimal changes)

Our software team uses MS Active Directory via a Windows server.

At the minute, they're set up where Active directory does the DHCP - so DHCP is turned off in the Draytek for their network.

How am I able to get them where they can communicate with the customer equipment.. such as Ping, and RDP etc?

Here is their setup (Managed by a windows server):

10.1.10.1 = Default Gateway (Draytek 2830)
10.1.10.2 = DHCP Server
255.0.0.0 = Subnet Mask
8.8.8.8 = DNS
8.8.4.4 = DNS

Here is the client's setup:

10.7.108.254 = Default Gateway
10.7.108.1.0 = DHCP Server
10.7.108.1 - 250 IP Pool
255.255.255.0 = Subnet Mask
10.7.2.18 = DNS
10.1.2.1 = DNS

Should I set up a VLAN in the Draytek and perhaps inter lan routing between the 2 networks?

Thanks
