BT infinity fibre to the home - Vigor 2860ac was created by reedav
Hi guys
has anyone setup a draytek vigorous 2860 using BT infinity with fibre into the house?
I have managed to get it working but I'm not sure i have the correct settings. It is currently connected via a ethernet cable to the fibre incomer and then the wan 2 connection on the router using PPPoE.
It only connects when there is no VLAN tag set where normally it is set to 101.
I only ask this as the speed of the connection doesn't seem as fast as it should be.
Thanks in advance for any hep.

The main info you want is here : https://www.draytek.co.uk/support/guides/vigor-2860-vdsl-setup
and I think you require Wan1 not Wan 2. VLAN tag should be 101

I'm a bit confused here - do you mean that you have FTTP, not just FTTC? What do you mean by "fibre incomer"?

I was also confused , I swear the OP originally said FTTP , not Infinity .

Sorry for the confusion. I was deliriously sleep deprived when I wrote it.
Coming into the property is a fibre cable which goes into a BT modem of such which also does the phone lines etc. (I'll try and get a picture when I'm back on site) it's a new build property and aparently this is how bt do it now.
I just wanted to know if I had the settings correct.
