Vigor 2960 LDAP configuration was created by clivetaylor
Hi All,
Has anyone successfully setup a 2960f firewall with LDAP for user management?
the firmware I have is current: 1.3.0
LDAP server is MS 2012 RS Standard.
standard port: 389
I have an open support ticket which has been open for months now, and I seem to be getting nowhere.
LDAP on the server works, i have photocopiers performing LDAP lookups for scan to email.
any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. The reason i require LDAP setup and working is for VPN Authentication.
thanks in advance

so finally got this working, but not 100% there.
I have a requirement to logon using windows username, 'firstname.surneme'
with the Common identifier set to 'CN' I can only logon with 'firstname surname' with no dot.
I have tried setting the common identifier to both uid and sAMAccountName but neither work.
anyone any ideas?
thanks
