Vigor 130 VPN connection problems was created by bigshorty
Having a bit of an issue with using my Vigor 130 with a VPN client, and was wondering if any of you guys can help me out.
My current setup consists of a Vigor 130, which is connected to an Asus DSL-N66U that is in router only mode and which handles all the PPPoE stuff of my ISP. I then have a TP-Link C3200 router that handles all the internet traffic in my home, and is the router I've configured to use the VPN client. For the past couple of days I've tried all sorts of settings on the TP-Link to get the VPN to work, with no luck. My internet works fine from the Vigor 130 to the Asus, and then to the TP-Link when using it normally, its only when I try to configure the VPN on the TP-Link that I loose internet connection. Anyway, I was under the impression that it was the TP-Link causing the issues, and then I remembered I had a Huawei ECI modem knocking about at home, and something made me try it out. I changed the Vigor 130 with the Huawei ECI modem, configured the TP-Link to use the VPN client, and amazingly it is now working, leading me to the conclusion that it is the Vigor 130 that is stopping me from connecting to my VPN network.
Does anyone know how I can configure the Vigor 130 to access the internet through my VPN, if it can actually do it that is? I would be very grateful for some tips and advice on how I might be able to get around this so I can continue to use my Vigor 130.
Many thanks in advance.
