Vlan between Draytek and D-Link was created by gkoutsis
Hi all,
I got a small problem with my current setup.
I am using a 2860VN router and a AP910C access point.
I created 2 Vlans which point to my hidden SSID and one for the guests with a different IP range seperate from my network.
Everything is working fine.
But, I would like to use my D-Link switch which is POE to power the access point.
Once the access point is connected to the switch, The 2nd Vlan I created is not recognised probably becuase the packets are not tagged correctly.
Any ideas as to what I am doing wrong?

Smart / Managed switches will usually strip VLAN tags that aren't recognised by the switch.
It should be possible to fix that by going into the switch web interface and in the VLAN settings (in VLAN > VLAN Membership on a P2261 for instance), add the VLAN tags that the ports should be passing through.
