AP800 Unresponsive was created by joelang1699
I have an AP800 which will not reset no matter how long I press the button for. The device still accepts power via POE and DC adapter and still registers ethernet cables when plugged in. Web Page Admin is totally unresponsive and its also no broadcasting on WIFI anymore.
Any hidden gems of wisdom you guys have to bring it back to life or maybe a hidden reset process?

Reset should always work unless something is seriously wrong. Remember that the default IP address is 192.168.1.2 not 1.1 and your PC needs to be in the same IP subnet to talk to it....

If the activity LED is flashing, probably faster than normal then I would guess that the FW is corrupted. Usually can recover from that using
http://www.draytek.co.uk/support/guides/kb-firmwarerecovery
(probably need to adjust a little for ap800). In essence, I think, most draytek devices have this built into the core bootstrap.
Or, have I just confused the issue?:?:
