3900 random reboot was created by jamescodefour
Hi, we have a 3900 with firmware 1.2.2 on a 100mb leased circuit. It seems very unreliable, in that it reboots itself randomly. We've never had more than 4 days uptime, sometimes it'll reboot twice in an hour, then remain stable for 3-4 days.
I've factory restored it, setup with config manually and it still reboots. CPU and MEM usage seem fine (usually around 20% CPU and 40% MEM).
I've kept a sys log and sent it to Draytek support but they seem stumped.
Its not really under any pressure. We have just the one WAN in use. DHCP, 2 LAN to LAN VPN's and around 20 Dial in users at anyone time.
Any thoughts? or experiences of similar issues?

I'm also running 1.2.2 and I'm also having stability issues with a HA cluster.
HA was running fine before the weekend - I've come back into the office to find the virtual IP unresponsive (real/management IPs still acccessible.)
Disabling and re-enabling the HA functionality brought the service back. I'm unsure if the device had rebooted prior to this as I'd already rebooted it myself in an attempt to get the VIP responsive.

I've given up with it. I've tired everything. I've dropped down to a 2960 with a beta firmware 1.3 which seems better.... for now

We are having the same problems, support gave us a new 1.3.0 firmware and has no difference. CPU creeps up and up and ping times to the web and the lan address of the router get higher and higher until the router falls over.

I feel your pain. Swapped to a 2960 now with 1.3rc5 and it's perfect. 42 days of uptime.

Thinking about ditching Draytek all together, clearly there is 0 customer support and the reliability of their "flagship" product is pathetic.
