DrayTek models that don't need a reboot after changes? was created by rsargeant
Hi Guys,
Can anyone tell me if there are any DrayTek models (and I'm guessing they'd be the higher spec ones if any) don't have to keep being rebooted after almost every setting change? It's a real pain, the 2830s and 2860s have to keep being rebooted to make certain changes
Thanks in advance.
Cheers,
Richard.

2960 & 3900 - they don't ask for them all the time. they will restart interfaces if you change them though.

You can avoid rebooting just by going to another menu rather than clicking the reboot button...but that may mean
your changes don't take effect or other anomalies...

Peplink devices like the Balance 20 are good for that sort of thing ;)
