Why do you need its time/date set?

When I first got the 130 I found you could set the date and time, but only on initial setup. It needed to be factory reset , once the config was saved there was no way to enter time etc.
I haven't bothered since, this is a modem not a router and the date is not needed for anything .

Sorry for the late response been away a few days.
Admin - No I don't need it was just curious why it didn't automatically get it.
Adrian - Yes I know it's not needed but.....
Anyway all it's not a problem just a level of my OCD that makes me question things lol.

As a few months have gone by has a fix been found / implemented for this? I can see the setting in the user manual but the current GUI still does not have the option listed.

Err... not wishing to be picky, but why would the dashboard display a date and time if there's no reasonable way to set it right?
On the other hand, how is this modem, which is operating purely at the DSL level so has no internet connectivity of its own (PPP level login) via it's WAN, ever talk to an NTP server?
It's a bit inconsistent. Still, I agree, not really a problem though.
