2860 respond to icmp when using ipv6 was created by andew
Hi
I'm trying to setup a broadband quality monitor (thinkbroadband). I can get it to work fine with ipv4, but cant get it working with ipv6 at all.
Anyone had any luck with getting this to work?
Regards
Andrew

No help to you I'm afraid but I have the same problem - have you been able to test if someone else can ping your router's IPV6 address?

Hi
I've managed to get a ping response from my ipv6 enabled linux server. No luck with the router's ipv6 address.
Regards
Andrew

I've got mine working - make sure that disable ping from the internet is off on both the IPv4 and IPv6 System Management pages (I had already done this but it was the next bit where I went wrong)
Then I re-set up the BQM using the router WAN IP , mine is of the form 2A02:8010:YYYY::1 - I checked that I could ping this i.e. ping [2A02:8010:YYYY::1] and that worked. With that IP the BQM is working also. I guess I hadn't got the IP address right the first time:?:
