That similar entries to me - as in the line signal seems stable but boths ends agree to drop.
When using OpenReach modem the whole things pauses with repeating magic number entries, then data continues.
This all looks like the same issue to my uneducated eye.

It would defiantly be worth giving 3.8.2.2_STD a try. Do you see the "G.Vectoring Status" message in your logs? Which ISP are you with?

Just had a quick scan - didn't see vectoring in the log, but will need to double check. ISP is PlusNet (fibre).

Uopn reboot/recoonection I can see that it says
[DSL] G.Vectoring Status:Off
Be nice to see this on the actual GUI so its immediately obvious.
I need some prediciatbility over the next week, but will then ttry the 3.8.2.2 STD as you suggest.

Good luck, I hope that it works for you. My ISP is PlusNet also, I wonder if that has any relevance....

Hi All,
I'm not an expert in any of this but have a complex home network at home connected to BT infinity.
My 2860 n+ has been rock solid until a week last saturday when I needed to reboot for the first time.
Every night since it drops my internet connection requiring a re-boot.
I'm running on 3.7.8.1 which I know is out of date.
I raised a ticket with Draytek but they've just asked me upgrade to 3.8.2.2 vector 3 and from the discussions on this board concerns me if this makes things worse as I have no idea on how to roll back firmware as the original installer set it up (and he is unavailable for 2 weeks).
I've set up syslog and get loads of time outs on PPoE 30 mins and magic nil values.
It seems pretty stable so far in the day and it seems it loses a WAN connection rather than a LAN error but I'm at the limits of my competence.
Of course BT say line is fine. Level 2 call tonight.
Any ideas or contacts in the Midlands that I could pay to come and resolve?
Thanks
