Best setup for multiple AP 900s was created by steven_w
I have several networks that I have deployed 2860s with AP900s. I am not new to this industry, but I have only been using Draytek products for about 18 months and can honestly say I don't really know them well enough yet.
Currently, I do my installs the following way:
Set up the 2860 gateway for the ISP & clients requirements, plus firmware update, then add all the APs to the network, setup a profile for the APs in central management then push that config to them all. Then check/update firmware.
This seems to work OK, however sometimes devices "hang on" to APs instead of moving from AP to AP when you move round the premises.
I have watched a few videos and followed a few tutorials but is there a better way to set these up?
Imagine a large peivate house with 10 APs where client requires seamless connection between APs for streaming etc.
Many thanks!

Its worth playing with some of the load balance settings.
There are a few options and you can disassociate by signal strength too
