Access to Draytek (Vigor 130) Web Interface Over WAN Port was created by r44712
Hi all,
I'm not sure if what I am trying to achieve is possible, but here goes....
I've got a Draytek Vigor 130 connected to an ADSL service. Connected to this is a Netgear WNDR4500 via its dedicated WAN port.
The Draytek has been configured to the IP 192.168.0.1 (not sure what the subnet mask is), the Netgear 192.168.1.1 (subnet mask 255.255.255.255). I've quoted the subnets in case they make a difference.
What I'd like to do, is to see the Draytek's Web Management interface whilst it is connected to the Netgear (as it's nothing short of a nuisance to go and dig the Draytek out of its hole every time to connect to it directly), if this even possible? Reason being that I'm enduring random disconnects and would like to see the line stats "on demand".
Thanks in advance.

I use the Vigor130 and an Asus AC3200, I used default settings, I can access the modem via 192.168.2.1 in any browser . (You can telnet in to the modem on that IP as well)

But I can't do it with a Draytek 2860. I'm not sure how AdrianH54's setup works but it seems it may have something to do with the default gateway?

Hi AdrianH54
Are you saying you can access the 130 stats WITHOUT having to disconnect the router and then plugging your pc into the 130? Because Draytek support have told me this isn't possible. I've got the Linksys EA8500 router connected to my Vigor 130 & like the OP, would love to be able to access the 130's stats through my pc's web browser over wifi. If you managed to do this pls do share your trick Just typing 192.168.2.1 into the browser doesn't work I'm afraid...

BTW the 2860/2925 support the adsl/vdsl stats from model 130 in dashboard. You should see the line specs in your 2860 dashboard/online status.
I made many requests about this to Draytek to implement this also in model 3900. They promised firmware 1.30 will have this feature

No special trick required, I just made standard connections, used default settings on both Vigor and Asus. Called 192.168.2.1 in a browser and got instant access.
I had the same on the RT-AC87U that got replaced with the AC3200 .
This is the internet status page, you can see the Wan IP and Gateway addresses.
This is from the Wan settings, if the VPN/DHCP setting is turned off the GUI is no longer accessible
