UPS battery status , power status , email when triggered was created by ghostworks
It would come in handy for Draytek vigor to see status of UPS via USB and ethernet, some installations I install Draytek have power outs and be nice to get a email via Draytek instead on adding a synology or Qnap , some installations require less items more simple installations

I'd guess each UPS communicates in a different way so it might be easier to just get an Ethernet interface for your UPS.

Synology and Qnap NAS recieve status via USB and email when power interrupted, I'd imagine it's possible

Netgear/Infrant also support this too.

I agree with admin, USB for UPS status is rather pointless and would be a sheer waste of development time. Simply hook UPS up into your TCP/IP network via ethernet and do the neccessary.
