double router port forward issue was created by jellybabies67
Hi
I have a double router setup
Router #1 is a skyhub sr102 - i connect to the internet with this router
Router #2 is a vigor 2820 which connects to the skyhub via the wan port using a static ip
(both routers are also acting as dhcp servers)
The draytek's static ip is on the same subnet as the skyhub and i have placed it in the skyhubs dmz so that all traffic goes directly to the draytek
remote management is turned on for the draytek with http access via port 80
i have also opened several other ports..
Although im able to remote into the skyhub router without any problems, the same cannot be said for the draytek which appears to be refusing connections with the following error (err_connection_timed_out)
are there any settings im overlooking on the draytek/skyhub??
Thanx

have you got more than one external IP?
it wont really work the way you want it without at least two unless you can mode the sky and modem with pppoe pass through

Presumably you've changed the SSL VPN port from 443 as per Draytek's advice?
