Could you try with a PC / mac instead of the time capsule so that you can check if it's the V130 or the Time Capsule setup that needs focussing on? The machine would need to have a PPPoE connect created.

The V130 doesn't have this option as it's in passthrough mode by default. I'm guessing the instructions that mention this would be for routers like the 2830 / 2860 etc.

On adsl and BT I had too change one setting before it would connect which was the modulation type. Otherwise no go. Yes it automatically bridges but you may need to check with your isp too see if you have the right settings as it may not be automatically setup.
The earlier versions of the firmware do have this option.
