Vigor 2860 and BT static IPs was created by alphanov
Hello
I have a Vigor 2860 which I am using on a BT business VDSL2 broadband with static IPs. I have this working with the initial static IP but am struggling to assign one of the static IPs to a system located on my LAN.
I have an IP based camera system which I would like to assign to an external static WAN IP. My setup is basically as follows.
Main WAN IP: 81.132.124.232
Router address: 192.168.2.1 (set to dynamically assign IPs above 192.168.2.50)
Camera system IP: 192.168.2.15 (static)
Other fixed BT IPs: 81.132.124.233 to 81.132.124.237
Ideally I would like to assign the camera system to 81.132.124.233.
In the future I would like to assign the remaining static IPs to other devices on my LAN and would appreciate advice on how best to achieve these. I'm not concerned about having a firewall between these devices as they are internally secured and will only respond on specific ports.
I have tried a few suggestions found on the internet but these don't achieve the required result and have, in turn, blocked all wired LAN traffic through the router and assigned all the static IPs to the main WAN interface.
Any suggestions please?
Thanks in anticipation
