G.INP was created by tacitus
Given that BT are rolling out G.INP starting with Huawei cabinets, does anybody know if the current UK 2760 firmware 3.7.8 supports G.INP? I have a feeling that it is G.INP "friendly" - IOW it doesn't support it, but won't impede it.

Technically it should, but seems to have made things worse for that guy.

It is supported & for the 2760 way before the 2860, see the link with the telnet command of previous poster added
You can also try vdsl optn and will show all available features ... G.INP is under the name of RETX (retransmission)
You can also try vdsl optn

Thought I'd post an update as I've recently been checking my stats and note that both G.INP and Vectoring have been switched on. I'm round 500m from the (Huawei) cabinet and on a capped 40 Mbps service.
I doubt either vectoring or G.INP will make a difference as I'm capped at 40 Mbps, but I did notice that when G.INP was switched on the DS Attainable Rate dropped from around 56000000 bps to 52199312 bps which is a significant drop.
When I get time I might try one of the firmware versions that utilise vectoring unless Draytek are about to release an update to the UK 3.7.8 series, and see if that makes any difference to the SNR. This has been stable at 5-6 dB from the time I went on to fibre.

If you look here
http://www.draytek.com/index.php?option=com_k2&view=item&id=5435:vigor2760n-delight&Itemid=662&lang=en#downloads
there are 1 more vector firmware & one STD for international
and the same for UK (same page more down) ...see
Downloads - Vigor2760 Delight series - For UK only
Using my 2760 only difference to my opinion are the modem codes ... it may be one that suits you
Remember each firmware has an additional modem code to try (wan>general setup>dsl modem code)

Thanks. I'll have a look at those and see if they do make a difference. As I said in my earlier post the only possible difference may be in the SNR and the DS Attainable Rate.
