Hi,
I have a 2860n router and I have noticed it is causing ping spikes. I tried my old router and i have no issues, I have tried both the internal modem and via the Openreach modem. It seems as though the router it self every few mins causes the spike. I even tried connecting the openreach modem direct to my PC and go no spikes whatsoever. See chart below

I have updated the firmware and tried everything. I am now going to reset to factory settings and just enable the internet. Currently I have vlans, wireless and VPN setup.

I decided to refund the router, it seems as the router has an issue.
