2860NP and CRC errors was created by jonmach
Hi,
I've just bought a 2860NP for BT Infinity. It turns out that the performance of the line is generally very poor anyway but one thing I no longer have visibility of are CRC errors. When I had ADSL, I could see them clock up on a regular basis. Is there any way to see this in the panel, or is there an alternative method?
Many thanks
Jon

For the poor quality you can try different modem code from wan>general setup>dsl modem code
There are 2
Alternative you can try the other firmware (adsl / vdsl) some reported (depending each line) adsl is better (even you have vdsl)
http://www.draytek.co.uk/support/downloads
To see the errors if you will use the vector firmware ( i think is the one named vdsl in UK download pages) or can get one of the folder named vector here
http://www.draytek.com/index.php?option=com_k2&view=item&id=5275&Itemid=417&lang=en#downloads
with the vector will appear a page like this (diagnostics > dsl statistics)
Alternative to see errors type at the small gray top right telnet button (looks like equalizer)
vdsl show ... or ... show vdsl
PS
Note updating firmware needs the *RST* file extension for a clean install

Thanks - much of the web based options you were referring to were not available, but the web console was there.
'adsl status' gave me what I needed.
Thanks

Yes correct, the web based is only available with vector firmware not the STD
