No Wireless Access 2920n Router was created by bliper
Hi,
I am unable to access my Vigor 2920n router via wireless from any device.
My setup is as follows:
Vigor 120 ADSL2/2+ Modem (firmware 3.2.6)
Vigor 2920n Router (Firmware 3.6.8)
Both devices are new, factory fresh with only the following changes applied:
120 has static IP: 192.168.1.1
2920 has static IP: 192.168.1.2
DHCP is disabled on both devices.
Internet access is available from my pc connected directly to the Vigor 2920n but not available from any device via wireless although the SSID is visible to the device.
Enable Wireless Lan is checked on the General Settings page and i have set the Security page 'Mode' setting to 'disable'. (Just for testing)
The wireless LAN on/off/WPS LED is also not lit.
Any suggestions how to fix this please?
Many thanks

Opinion only if helps
you should enable dhcp at the 2920 & disable at the 120
also you should let the 2920 has ip 192.168.1.1 & the 120 192.168.1.2
If both having same range ip i think you will only be able 1 of them (the way 120 is been setup/bridged) ... that is why try the vice versa change of ip addresses
If you have windows try the cmd command ipconfig/release, ipconfig/renew
