BT Infinity was created by lectrician
I have just had BT infinity installed to replace the ADSL.
The BT router works fine. Connects and works.
The 2860 will not work - Username or password error.
I am using the correct username and password, and have confirmed this several times! Vlan set to 101 on the VDSL settings page.
If I change the username tobtbusinesshub@btinternet.com , with no password, it DOES work.
I'm confused. I have asked BT to confirm the username and password several times now, and time and time again they have confirmed them as correct. The username is also shown in the WORKING BT Business Hub (can't see the password).
Am I missing anything? I have set several 2860's up on VDSL, but this is the first one with BT as a supplier (It's been Plusnet so far).
Thansk.

The only logical expanation was that the password (triple checked) was incorrect.
It was.
Despite BT confirming it three times in three separate phone calls!

That's fine, but it doesn't connect to YOUR package, so you don't get YOUR STATIC IP (if you have one), or other data relating to your package. You are just bulked into a stream with all those others who choose to connect using that username.
Incidently,btbusinesshub@btbroadband.com also works, but it really is a limited connection.
Incidently,
