Vigor 130 - Missing configuration options? was created by paulw21781
I've just purchased & installed a new Vigor 130 ADSL/VDSL Modem, which I've installed and so far is working fine coupled up to a pfSense firewall setup, using bridged PPPoE authentication from within pfSense.
I'm now trying to enable SNMP for monitoring of the modem, as I've created a secondary interface so I can connect to the modems Admin UI, which I can do (connecting to 192.168.2.1), however, it appears that the majority of options described in the User Manual are not showing?
The entire list of options available to me is as follows:
So, going from the User Manual, I'm missing a considerable amount of options here... And as for SNMP, when reading the user manual section 3.8.7, the only options I have in this section is IPv4 Management Setup , which only contains the following configurable items:
There is no IPv6 Management tab, going from the user manual, there is also no Telnet port, FTP or SSH port configurable as shown in the user manual, and also no SNMP Setup options.
Am I missing something?
Thanks

Appears going into the web console, I can at least access these options:
And checking the current status, shows the following:
So now I need to figure out the correct configuration string to pass (as in the example...)
Code:
> mngt snmp ?
Usage:
mngt snmp [- | ... ]
-h show usage
-e <1/2> ,1 Turn on , 2 Turn off SNMP
-g , Get Community (max. 23 characters)
-s , Set Community (max. 23 characters)
-m or / , Manager Host IP
Support 3 IPs, separated by ','
-t , Trap Community(max. 23 characters)
-n , Notification Host IP
Support 2 IPs, separated by ','
-T , Trap Timeout <0~999>
-V List SNMP setting
Example:
mngt snmp -e 1 -g draytek -s DK -m 192.168.1.20,192.168.5.192/26,10.20.3.40/24 -t trapcom -n 192.168.1.20,10.20.3.40 -T 88
And checking the current status, shows the following:
Code:
> mngt snmp -V
SNMP Agent is [Disable].
Get Community is [public].
Set Community is [private].
Manager Host IP is
Trap Community is [public].
Notification Host IP is
Trap Timeout is 10 seconds.
So now I need to figure out the correct configuration string to pass (as in the example...)

Hi, I am not sure if you are ONLY trying to have access to the UI of the 130 ... if yes ... take a look this if will work ... is from the 120 but both should be the same settings

I've already got access to the UI thanks, its the amount of options which im missing. And lack of SNMP configurability within the UI.
I'll get some pictures later, should hopefully explain it better.

OK, so this is what I see within the Vigor 130 UI...
Yet in the manual, it shows as this:
So yeah, I'm a tad confused here...

SNMP is not supported on the Vigor 130; it is only intended as a transparent bridge, as per spec. on the web site.
