Deny Rule - OK Button greyed out was created by pg_bennett
Hello,
I am trying to set up a Deny rule on my 2830n v2 on 3.7.4.1 for WAN -> LAN and as soon as I select "Block immediately" or "Block if no further matches" the OK button is greyed out.
Am I missing something very simple ? I have done the same rules on my older 2820 without issue. I like to be explicit with certain rules and set up a Deny Policy first before Allowing specific incidences - or can I rely upon the default rule ?
Thank you
Paul

Hi,
I've just tried the same on a 2860 and have not had any problems at all. Could this be a bug ? Or more likely, is there setting that I could possibly have changed that might make it react in this way ?
Any ideas welcomed

I've just had conformation from Draytek that this is a firmware issue and should be resolved by an update.

Hi Paul
I did a 4 hour round trip to a customer site to replace a 2830n. The new unit was a 2830n V2. I spent hours on site trying to get the deny rules to work as per the existing unit.
If its a firmware issue how the hell did these units get passed quality assurance testing ? You can imagine my anger !!!!!!
Rant over
