hi has any one ever tried to do a back up restore from a 2820 to a 2830 both non wireless ?

Sorry i am not answering your question but is not recommenced due to different menu/settings even if it will accept the backup file

The latest firmware on 2860 can restore settings from earlier models of router. Update the 2830 and check if it has the same functionality.

Unless is miss print i think is asking between 2820 & 2830, not a 2860 ... but thanks for the info
