Cannot access router log in was created by allgermanparts
Hello all,
I am 192.168.1.1trying to access the admin of a Vigor 2820 and cannot get in. I have used the default IP address in the browser of 192.168.1.1 and done an ipconfig which shows default gateway as 10.0.0.100 and I cannot get in here either. I have previously been in but I cannot remember how. Can anyone help please.
Thanks in advance.

sorry forgot try in your browser the default gateway if works 10.0.0.100
if you have any switch, take it out and try connect direct to the modem with the your & the above combinations

Hi babis3g,
It turns out I needed to add :12380 to get in there.. Thanks for your help. Just out of interest my credit card company say I have a port showing as open from a public point of view which shows my remote access log in. I don't suppose you know anything about that do you..
Kind regards
Jason

the only i can think is to disable (untick) at System Maintenance >> Management > Allow management from the Internet
http://www.draytek.com/index.php?option=com_k2&view=item&id=1219&Itemid=293&lang=en
That should stop accessing your router in general via remote (if you are somewhere far) by typing the current ip address of your connection
if this is disable already i have no idea with credit cards security, sorry ... perhaps an other user may know if port forward is involved
Also maybe disable or set correct SSL, if you are using it??? but personal no experience either with that
