Vigor 2860n-p set up for BT Infinity was created by mmmuuummm
Hello there.
Can anyone help me with setting up our new gadget? I've followed the most obvious advice of adding our user name and password for ISP access and the screenshots provided by Draytek but we have not Internet by plugging the unit in to the DSL line. The instruction booklet assumes I have some level of intelligence, which I don't and perhaps shouldn't have aspired to such a snazzy product?! That said, it MUST be possible! I'm wondering if BT have to help me, although suspect they'll be less than willing...... hence my hopes someone here can help
You Tube gave us the answer!!!!! Wonderful:lol:

make sure you have connect the phone cable from BT socket to the wan vdsl/adsl
Not forget at wan>general set up to add vlan tag 101 & wan internet access to tick enable top left & also each page needs to press to OK button under each page
Also it is important to have the correct user name ... so try combination ofxxxx@btinternet.com or bthomehub@btbroadband.com and 1234, blank, space, your phone number & at Network > WAN>DSL mode>vdsl2
for more help on that check at BT forums
