2955 and Hyper V - Packet Loss was created by steve1170
Hi,
We use a Draytek 2820 for our internet connection and a 2955 to terminate lan to lan connections between sites. We have just had a new virtual environment setup and have noticed packet loss between sites but only from the vms. As it's intermittent I have managed to get it to show up using the ping diagnostics from the 2955 so I'm sure it is that + everything else on the network communicates fine.
I don't really want to rip out the 2955 but after upgrading the firmware (v3.31) I am at a loss. Any one got any ideas?
Thanks

If you going to try the firmware try the *rst* file, it does a clean install (all settings will be lost)
If you have any switch check if this is the issue

there is a new firmware 3.3.1.3 at Taiwan download pages, it may not fix your issue but has open ssl security fix, still worth to update

Can you provide any more information about the configuration? For example IP ranges, MAC ranges (Hyper-V standalone uses the same MAC pool on all hosts by default...), what exactly is and is not accessible?
