Nat to different routerr was created by richardtarlton
Hi All,
I have two adsl lines via two different routers,
At present I have one 2850, WAN1 is a VPN (ipsec) tunnel, WAN2 is a sataliite connection to internet.
The sat connection is rubbish, so would like to forward the ports to the other router which I do not wish to relocate due to the time taken to do this.
Is this achievable though NAT, or is there another way to forward internet traffic to another router.
Kind Regards
Richard

Thanks For replying.
I'm using load balance at the moment to redirect internet ports to WAN2, to keep the tunnel clear. But since the WAN2 connection is rubbish, I would like to farm this off to another router.
The WAN2, can be messed with, so I'm not sure if I can redirect internet ports to the IP adress of the router, or set the other router to replace the current WAN2 modem ( Sat ), or the best way to achieve it really.
Not even sure if NATing is the way to go.
Regards
richard

A static route would allow you to send specific remote IP subnets via
the other router but I'm not sure how you could do it by port... I'd
get a router with 3 WAN port, but I appreciate you don't want to
