No LAN light on Draytek 2850 was created by playford
Hi Guys,
I have a 2850 in one of my clinics and as of last night the Ethernet ports have stopped working with no light on them and not giving out DHCP.
Has anyone heard of this happening before or is the router broken?
Thanks
Mark

The lan 4 if the led is off that means is working but is connected to 10/100 mbps
If 1-3 leds are off it means are disconnected so if the modem is switched on, it could be dead
It also needs to be a cable to be connected to it the lan (to have affect)
check if at lan > general set-up > details page > dhcp is off (disable server) ... if is off enable it
you can ping the router with connected an ethernet cable via telnet ... "ping 192.168.1.1" ... if you don't get reply it may be dead
It may be a confict so you also may need to reset the 2850 as last attempt ... if this not help its a bad indicator

Is one of the LAN ports on the Vigor2850 switchable as a WAN port...if so maybe
if it's in the other mode, the LED behaves differently ?
